Future talked about his early days coming up in Dungeon Family, when he watched artists like Outkast, Ludacris, T.I. and Bubba Sparxxx record while he was still figuring out his own approach to music. In particular, his collaboration with Outkast's Andre 3000 on Honest was a long time coming. "He always wanted to work with me, but I was always just like, I feel like I wasn’t ready at the time," he said. "I just need you to come through when I need it and he did."
